About Me
The development of a pleasurable relationship to my own Body/Mind is a practice I have worked on building and deepening for many decades. Sharing this cultivation of inner peace and intimacy through bodywork, breath, somatics and yogic teachings is a real passion. The work of feeling present and at ease with one's self improves all our relationships and undermines all systems of oppression.
An enthusiastic student, my practice grows and deepens continuously.
Some of my teachers include Todd Jackson (biodynamic massage and craniosacral therapy/yoga), Carol Gray (craniosacral), Joshua Sylvae (Somatic Experiencing), Roxanne O'Hara (myofascial release), Cyr Zeebert-Foote (craniosacral), Michelle Loew (yoga), Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield (meditation and mindfulness), Francis Weller (grief work) and many others near and far....
In addition to working as a Bodyworker and a Yoga/Meditation Teacher, I am in year 2 of a three year training to be a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I am a mother/step-mother to 2 amazing humans, I throw ceramics, love fiction/poetry and rejoice in time in the ocean, in rivers, in hot springs and under the stars.
Cats rule my heart.
